What is an ALE workshop?

ALE workshops are open to faculty members, students, engineers, and anyone who have experience in or are curious about active learning, and are interested in improving engineering education.

Since ALE is meant to promote active learning, ALE workshops are very active themselves. Rather than the traditional mix of plenary talks and paper presentations, ALE workshops aim at involving participants in active key-note plenaries, hands-on sessions, group reflections and interactive poster activities.

The number of participants is limited in order to guarantee active participation by all, and in order to provide the opportunity to facilitate exchange of ideas and practices and cooperation within the international active-learning community.
